You’ve tried everything. You’re still exhausted. There may be another way…
Chronic fatigue, burnout, anxiety… or simply feeling like your body isn’t working the way it should. I know how confusing and frustrating that can be.
I’m Katie Dean. I was told I would never recover from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome… but I did—by discovering a completely different way of understanding what was happening.
If something in you is beginning to question things, you’re very welcome to explore what I found.

Your CFS Recovery Journey: Where to begin
I’ve shared more of my story on the homepage: This page is here to help you take a simple next step—whatever feels right for you today.
I’ve laid out a few different ways you can begin, depending on where you are and what feels accessible right now.

Option 1: The Find My Energy Community
This is a free online space where you can begin exploring things for yourself, at your own pace.
Inside, you’ll find a growing library of articles, videos and tools designed to help you understand what’s happening in your body, reconnect with yourself, and begin to see things differently.
You can simply follow your curiosity—there’s no pressure to do everything or get it “right”.
Over time, many people find that this alone begins to shift how they experience their symptoms, as their nervous system settles and they come back into alignment with themselves.
If you feel drawn, you can explore further from there—but for now, this is a simple place to begin.
“The best part for me is that Katie provides a safe space to explore symptoms and issues. There is no judgement, just discussions and suggestions on how I could move forward in the areas I wished to work on. Not only have a number of my CFS symptoms improved, but I feel that I have regained some control over health and a better understanding of my condition.“

Option 2: My International-Best-Selling Book
I’ve shared my full recovery journey, and the lessons I learned along the way, in my book Finding the Energy to Thrive.
It’s not a “one-size-fits-all” solution, but an invitation to begin seeing things differently, and to find your own way through an experience that can often feel like a maze.
If you prefer to explore quietly in your own time, this can be a supportive place to start.
“I really enjoyed reading this book. Katie has captured many aspects of the CFS experience and created a model to help guide and identify where a reader could be within their own experience of the illness. It then charts multiple ways that they can move through it with more hope and understanding.
There are some helpful insights to do with early life development and the effect this has on the nervous system. This includes discussion of the illness being precipitated by viral infections, however the component about a maladaptive nervous response initiating chronic fatigue-based symptoms was a novel idea to me. This has drawn on a creative synthesis of current research on developmental trauma.
The author is very considerate and emphasises that this is an automatic process, so it should not necessitate any unreasonable judgement even though it inevitably does, both from ourselves and others. Living with this illness is often an overwhelming and lifechanging process, but reading this book will definitely make it that bit easier for you wherever you happen to be in the ‘CFS maze’.“

WHAT IF COLOUR AND SACRED GEOMETRY COULD SUPPORT HEALING?
Option 3: The Kolorlan System
This is something that came through me during my recovery, and it continues to unfold.
It works with colour and sacred geometry in a way that can feel both creative and surprisingly calming—often helping to settle the nervous system and create space for reflection and change.
You might begin simply, by choosing a piece of art for your space, colouring a design, or exploring the colours in a way that feels intuitive and enjoyable.
Or you may find yourself drawn more deeply into using these tools as a way to reconnect with yourself and explore what’s happening within you.
There’s no right way to approach it—you can simply follow what feels natural and see where it leads.

Some people choose to bring these pieces into their environment—through artwork or objects that subtly support a sense of balance and calm.
Others prefer a more hands-on approach, using colour and creativity as a way to slow down, ground themselves, and begin to see things more clearly.

“Thank you for holding your lovely workshop on Friday. It was great to take some time out for me, in what was a particularly busy week. It felt indulgent to do this but that was a great part of the pleasure too. I really enjoyed using the cards to dictate to me which colours I should use, giving me little challenges to create pleasing designs even with colours I wouldn’t naturally choose. I really also enjoyed learning about what the colours represent, beyond what we might obviously think of. I felt very relaxed after the workshop and will definitely be colouring again!”
Suzanne Raffellini, SuzanneRaffelliniGlassArtist.com.

“I wanted to tell you how much I loved the Kolorlan I ordered for my friend. I have yet to give it to her, but the extra card that came with it for me to colour in with the friends who are chipping in to gift the Kolorlan set with me, is very surprising. I met with one of her friends, someone I haven’t really spoken to much before. As we talked, had tea, and coloured in the card, we had the most incredible conversation. We discussed a wide range of topics in depth. I found myself sharing parts of my history with her that I hadn’t told our mutual friend, whom I have known for years. It was so interesting and exciting, as though a calmness entered and relaxed both of us in our time together. There’s magic to the cards!
I’m looking forward to my friend discovering this transformation as she explores her birthday gift.”

Option 4: The Temple of Rejuvenation
For those who feel drawn to go a little deeper, the Temple of Rejuvenation offers a space to slow down, reconnect, and explore alongside others, personally guided by Katie.
We gather every four weeks in a small group, on Zoom, for a 90-minute experience that includes a Kolorlan meditation, simple somatic practices, and space for reflection and shared insight.
Alongside the live sessions, you have access to a private space containing the meditations and past explorations, so you can continue to support yourself and connect with others in between.
This is a space where many people begin to see themselves differently. What once felt like failure or lack of willpower starts to make sense…and in that understanding, something begins to change.
There’s a shift away from self-blame. A growing sense of self-compassion. And from there, change begins to happen in a way that doesn’t require pushing or forcing.

“When I first heard about Katie’s proposed Temple of Rejuvenation, I immediately felt drawn to it, and was so excited to listen to her first presentation about what it would entail and her ideas for it. I joined immediately after that. And at a difficult time, it is not only sustaining and nurturing me, but is helping on so many different levels, and has revived, and is reviving my belief and hope that I can become unstuck and start to move forward in small ways again.” ~ Jill Clark
If you’re not sure where to begin, or this all feels a little unfamiliar…
